For the API, yes: API calls are always billed per million tokens at the rates above. In the chat app, a plan makes your messages free (fair use) and raises your rate limit. Without a plan the chat app bills per token like the API.
Crypto through NOWPayments (BTC, XMR, ETH, SOL, USDC, LTC and more) with no name, no email and no address, or a card through Stripe, which asks for the usual details. The minimum top-up is $5.00.
$0.25 of credit, so you can try it before you pay anything. Your account is a 16-digit number: no email needed. If a friend signs up with your referral and makes their first top-up, you get $2.00.
Requests return 402 insufficient_credits. Nothing is charged past zero. Turn on auto-reload in settings if you would rather it never stops.
Pay as you go gets 60 requests per minute per key, Pro 120, Max 600. You can lower the limit on any key from the dashboard. Hit it and you get a 429.
Unused credit never expires, so it stays on your balance until you use it. The one exception: if an account is closed for breaking the acceptable use rules, its unused credit is not refunded.
No. We store model, token counts, cost, latency and a timestamp per request, for 30 days by default (365 if you opt in). Never the text, never your IP. Chat history stays in your browser.
The refusal behaviour has been removed from the weights, so the model answers instead of lecturing. It does not mean we ignore the law: the acceptable use policy still bans CSAM, sexual content of real people without consent, and attacks on systems you do not own.
